How quickly can I come to Vietnam?

You can come as soon as you have all documents prepared, an entry visa, a flight ticket, and at least $1000 USD to get you through the first few months in Vietnam. This can typically take 1-4 weeks depending on your preparedness.

Can I do a 6 month process?

Our program is based on one year contracts and the companies we work with require the teachers to sign a 1 year contract when applying for the work permit and temporary residence card. This allows the teacher to participate in the full school year.

Our partners offer flexible options as well: Part-time hours (3 or 6 months contracts).

Am I working in one location?

If you are working during the weekdays at a public school, you may be working at 1 or more schools. If you are working at a language center in the evenings/weekends, it will typically be the same center every week.  You may occasionally be asked to cover classes for an absent teacher at other locations.

Can I bring my partner?

Yes,  if they also want to teach, this will allow you to double the income of the household. They would follow the same application process.

Alternatively, 3 month tourist visas are available for digital nomads.
